Selectarc MIG 25/20

This solid wire is specifically designed for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) of similar austenitic stainless steels, notably 310. It is also suitable for welding dissimilar steel combinations, including high-temperature resistant steels and other austenitic stainless steels. The wire offers good resistance to oxidation at high temperatures, up to 1000°C. It is commonly used in demanding applications such as the petrochemical industry, paper mills, ovens, and boiler fabrication.

This wire is ideal for applications requiring robust welding of stainless steels under high-temperature conditions. It’s frequently employed in industries like petrochemicals, paper manufacturing, and boiler production. The addition of a back shielding gas (Argon or Nitrogen) is recommended to prevent ‘back end’ rust formation during welding.
