Selectarc MIG 19/13S

This low carbon solid wire is specifically designed for GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) of stainless steels with similar chemical compositions, notably alloy X1CrNiSi 18-15-4 (UR® S1). It offers high corrosion resistance, particularly in nitric acid environments, making it suitable for demanding applications. This wire is characterized by its precise composition and adherence to relevant standards.

Primarily used for welding stainless steels, especially in applications involving nitric acid storage. Ideal for GMAW processes requiring a high corrosion-resistant filler metal. Recommended for use with shielding gases (Ar+0.5-5%CO2 or Ar+0.5-3%O2) and a back shielding system (Argon or Nitrogen) to prevent ‘back end’ rust formation. Welding parameters should be adjusted based on the specific application and steel type.
