Selectarc MIG F63
This is a copper-coated solid wire specifically designed for gas metal arc welding (GMAW) of creep-resistant steels. The wire contains Chromium (1.25%) and Molybdenum (0.5%) and is suitable for applications where service temperatures reach up to 550°C. It’s commonly used in the petrochemical and chemical industries. The wire’s composition and mechanical properties, along with recommended welding parameters, are outlined for optimal performance, particularly after post-weld heat treatment (PWHT).
This copper-coated solid wire is ideal for welding creep-resistant steels in demanding environments such as petrochemical plants and chemical processing facilities. It’s particularly suitable for applications requiring high-temperature strength and resistance to deformation. The recommended shielding gas (Ar + O2) and welding parameters, combined with post-weld heat treatment, ensure the weld’s integrity and durability.
