The MIG HB56HT wire is primarily used for the overlay and buildup of components such as forging and drawing dies, hammers, dies, swages, hot shear blades, rollers, and cast molds. It’s particularly well-suited for machinery parts exposed to significant impact, compression, and wear, as well as those operating at elevated temperatures. Following welding, machining with a grinding wheel or carbide tool is possible for achieving precise dimensions and finishes.
