Selectarc FCW 77 B
This basic flux cored wire is specifically designed for welding high strength steels. Alloyed with Nickel, Chromium and Molybdenum, it provides exceptional mechanical properties even at low temperatures (-60°C). It offers good weldability in the flat position, excellent bead appearance and minimizes spatter losses. It is suitable for use with Ar + CO2 shielding gas and is compatible with a range of high-strength steel designations including EN-S620Q, S620QL, S690Q, S690QL, and various ASTM grades.
This flux cored wire is primarily used in applications requiring high-strength steel welding, such as crane construction and vessel fabrication. Welding parameters are recommended for use with Ar + CO2 shielding gas at flow rates of 12-15 l/min. It’s compatible with a variety of steel designations including EN-S620Q, S620QL, S690Q, S690QL, ASTM A 514 Gr. F, H, Q; A 709 Gr. 100 Type B, E, F, H, Q; A 709 Gr. HPS 100W.
