Selectarc 20/10MBC

This is a Rutile electrode, specifically designed for welding and cladding on austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo stainless steels and clad plates. It features a low carbon content (approx. 8% ferrite) and a coating with very low moisture pick-up, ensuring a soft, spatter-free fusion and easy slag removal. The resulting bead appearance is exceptional, facilitating easy restriking. It’s suitable for use in demanding environments, including the chemical and petrochemical industries, refineries, food industries, and shipbuilding, offering service temperatures from -120°C up to +400°C.
