Selectarc B63

This Selectarc B63 electrode is a basic coated electrode specifically designed for welding creep-resistant steels. Alloyed with Chromium (Cr) and Molybdenum (Mo) – 1% Cr – 0.5% Mo – it offers excellent performance at high temperatures, up to 500-550°C. It’s characterized by a soft fusion, facilitating good slag removal and resulting in a visually appealing weld bead. It’s suitable for demanding applications where creep resistance is crucial.

This electrode is primarily used for welding high-temperature piping systems, boilers, and overheaters. It’s a key component in petrochemical and chemical industry applications where it provides the necessary strength and resistance to deformation at elevated temperatures.
