Selectarc HB65
The Selectarc HB65 is a coated electrode designed for applications demanding high abrasion resistance. It features a high alloy content, enabling it to withstand harsh operating conditions including high temperatures (up to 450°C) and corrosion. This electrode is known for its ease of welding, smooth drop transfer, and minimal slag content, resulting in a recovery rate of approximately 190%.
This electrode is particularly well-suited for hardfacing components used in demanding environments, such as ash plows, coke crusher segments, screw conveyers, valves, exhaust fans, agitator fingers, mill guides, mixer paddles, rake teeth in furnaces, tong bits, slag ladles, and elevator bucket-tips. It’s ideal for applications where high abrasion, friction, and heat exposure are prevalent.
