Selectarc HB63
Selectarc HB63 is a high-efficiency electrode designed for hardfacing applications. It features a synthetic rutile coating and an austenitic matrix containing chromium carbides, providing excellent resistance to abrasive wear, compression, and heat up to 200°C. The result is a smooth, self-cleaning slag with easy flow characteristics. This electrode is suitable for multiple layers (1-3) and can be machined using grinding.
This electrode is ideal for demanding applications such as surfacing excavating and crashing equipment, endless screws, mixer blades, pump bodies for abrasive materials, excavator teeth, crushing installations for minerals, concrete pumps, ores crushing, ploughshares, lumps break, and screw presses for bricks. For hardfacing high alloyed steels like stainless steels, a cushion layer with Selectarc 29/9 or 18/8Mn is recommended.
