Selectarc HB40
The Selectarc HB40 is a Rutile coated electrode specifically designed for the surfacing of machine and construction parts, as well as tools manufactured from low-alloyed and cast steels. Primarily used on components subjected to pressure and shock, this electrode offers easy welding even with smaller equipment, producing a low-spatter, self-releasing slag and a visually appealing weld bead. The deposited metal is also machinable with carbide cutting tools, ensuring a high-quality finish.
This electrode is ideal for surfacing rollers, gear teeth, stamps, hammers, guide rails, and other similar components. Its properties make it suitable for a wide range of applications in the machine building, construction, and tooling industries. It’s particularly well-suited for applications where high strength and wear resistance are required.
