Selectarc HB300B

This semi-hard, machinable surfacing electrode offers excellent toughness and high recovery (approximately 120%) for use on equipment parts and tools. It is designed to resist medium friction and compression while being highly resistant to shocks, producing dense, crack-free deposits with a soft fusion, minimal spatter, and a self-releasing slag, resulting in a pleasing bead appearance.

Selectarc HB300B is ideal for heavy build-up applications, particularly as a cushion layer on forging die cavities, mandrels, gear teeth, chains, sprockets, punches, blades, and drawing dies. It’s recommended for use on heavy-duty applications requiring a robust and durable surfacing material.
