Selectarc PAG60
PAG 60 is a brazing alloy formulated with 6% Silver and a small addition of Nickel (0.1%) to enhance its ductility and mechanical properties. It’s certified by Certigaz under the ATG N° 1530 specification (ATG B.524-3 – 2020). This alloy is particularly suitable for bridging and joining gaps with medium to low clearances, offering good capillarity. It’s commonly used in gas and combustible installations, especially with copper and copper brass pipes. While corrosion resistance is similar to copper, it may be affected by sulfuric gases or high temperatures. It can be used with a flame.
PAG 60 is primarily recommended for the hard brazing of copper/copper and copper brass pipes, particularly in gas and combustible installations. Due to the potential for embrittlement when used with alloys containing iron, nickel, or cobalt, it’s generally not suitable for those applications. It’s designed for use with a flame. Applications include industrial cooling, fluid transport and plumbing. The alloy is certified under specification ATG B.524-3 (2020) when used in conjunction with AGFLUX flux.
