Selectarc BRAZARGENT 34 GAZ
BRAZARGENT 34 GAZ is a cadmium-free quaternary alloy formulated with 34% silver, along with copper, zinc, and tin. This alloy, when used in conjunction with the AGFLUX flux, is certified under ATG N° 1614 according to specification ATG B.524-3 (2020). Its carefully balanced composition – primarily copper, zinc, silver, and tin – results in a lower melting point, enhanced fluidity, and excellent wetting properties. This makes it ideally suited for creating strong, reliable joints, particularly in close-fitting assemblies and situations demanding tight gap penetration. It’s a cost-effective choice offering good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
BRAZARGENT 34 GAZ is primarily utilized for brazing a wide range of materials including steels, copper, copper-based alloys, stainless steels, and nickel and nickel-based alloys. It’s frequently employed in demanding applications such as HVAC systems, automotive components, food and sanitary equipment, electrical industries, household appliances, and the healthcare sector. Due to its specific properties, it’s well-suited for applications needing robust joints with good resistance to corrosion. The alloy’s fluidity and wetting capabilities ensure a strong bond even in challenging joint geometries. The combination with AGFLUX flux further enhances brazing performance.
