AGFLUX HP is a high-performance brazing flux specifically formulated for use with CuPAg and silver-containing alloys. It offers a wide temperature range of activity and ensures excellent fluidity and capillary action within the 500-800°C melting temperature range. This flux is suitable for use with various flame types, including induction and resistance brazing, and minimizes fume generation. It can be applied as a paste (with a 4:1 water addition) and is RoHS compliant. The product is designed for complex brazing applications across diverse industries, including electrical, automotive and copper tube installations.

AGFLUX HP is recommended for brazing steel, copper, copper alloys, and nickel alloys. It’s particularly effective with applications in the electrical industry, vehicle construction, and copper tube installations. When using, it’s crucial to properly prepare the joint surface by cleaning and degreasing. Apply the flux evenly across the joint, ensuring thorough mixing with water (if using paste form). Monitor the flux’s opacity as a guide for reaching the brazing temperature. To maximize penetration, utilize techniques such as hot-rodding, where a warm brazing rod is dipped into the flux powder. Post-braze, remove the flux residue using hot water, brushing, or mechanical cleaning methods to prevent corrosion. Adhere to recommended storage conditions (+5 to 30°C) to maintain product integrity.
